I got my sisters to watch it, and we still say "Can I dip my bawls in it?" to each other....good times!! I do love me some SNL, but I have to say Kids and the State were def underrated!! Thanks for this trip back to some great memories!! (Altho, it's also recalling the days when I was addicted to "Undressed" - lol!)bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14429255004795012447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1240858921074775709.post-29533375322247224342009-07-23T08:41:52.936-07:002009-07-23T08:41:52.936-07:00Cool, will check it out. So more often than not, Louie and Doug ("I'm outta heeere!") would kind of parody themselves or comment on their annoying catchphrases.

I love following Michael Ian Black on Twitter--he's hilarious! A couple of years ago, he was performing at the theatre around the block from my apartment. My roommate/best friend and I tried to get in, but it was sold out. Later, we were walking around the neighborhood and he was outside the theatre, taking a picture with a fan! Like the giant dork I am, I gasped, and he smiled at us.miaohdeuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11829709456145455233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1240858921074775709.post-21556163928686547282009-07-20T21:09:06.057-07:002009-07-20T21:09:06.057-07:00Ha. And that's all I saw of this!

But I did see Michael Ian Black being an excellent gay demon on a short-lived CW show, Reaper. It was a pretty cute show, but I was mostly watching it to get a friend who liked it to reciprocate and try out the only show I REALLY watch, Supernatural. Which he did not!

And though I am not a celeb follower, Michael Ian Black is pretty funny on Twitter, from what I have seen. He had a funny feud with the Geordi La Forge (Star Trek Next Gen) / Reading Rainbow guy...

Misha Collins, who plays an angel on Supernatural, is REALLY good at Twitter, AND has published at least one pretty good poem in a literary magazine! So yeah, I kind of love him. I'm not following him right now. But I might again.Brynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07877229949224544344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1240858921074775709.post-16571820854388960182009-07-20T20:09:40.808-07:002009-07-20T20:09:40.808-07:00Touche, Rob.

That was my introduction to him. :)Rockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09195073376065246474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1240858921074775709.post-58151958391987821592009-07-20T13:40:30.738-07:002009-07-20T13:40:30.738-07:00That one is amazing--they riffed on Italian stereo...That one is amazing--they riffed on Italian stereotypes a lot, probably because at least two ensemble members were very obviously Italian. Same with Jewish stereotypes.

Definitely check it out. You mentioned Kids in the Hall in an earlier post--if you liked them (as did I), you would definitely enjoy The State. They weren't re-run nearly as much as KITH because of issues with music rights--that's also why the DVD took so long to come out.miaohdeuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11829709456145455233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1240858921074775709.post-79104540780720239912009-07-20T13:23:48.506-07:002009-07-20T13:23:48.506-07:00I've never seen it myself but i've heard r...I've never seen it myself but i've heard really good things--I'll have to check it out. Actually, wait, no, I have seen one sketch--the one about going to the zoo to see the monkeys do it. Heh.Sadakohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01164802394129505587noreply@blogger.com
